DEW Events are an established event creation team with an enviable reputation in the exhibition industry and a portfolio of successful shows. Formed in 1994 the company’s first-born show was the Harrogate Footwear Fair in September of that year. A series of footwear shows then took place at The National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham between 1995 and 2000, eventually evolving into Footwear UK. August 2000 saw the event take place at the NEC for the first time and the show has enjoyed a healthy growth rate ever since. A staggering 350 brands exhibited at the three-day event in August 2005, ensuring a real crossover of opportunity for buyers. Launched in September 2004, Footwear London takes place twice yearly at Olympia 2. Now in its fifth exciting season, Footwear London is a late season buying event offering visitors a unique mix of high fashion footwear, accessories and wholesale fashion footwear collections. In September 2005 both Footwear UK and Footwear London were formally acquired by ITE Group plc, owner of ITE Moda Ltd. Now an integral part of the international exhibition groups portfolio of thriving events including Moda UK, Moda Menswear and Moda Accessories, Footwear UK has been rebranded Moda Footwear and is now an essential part of the UK's largest and most comprehensive trade fashion event. The Total Sandwich Show enjoyed its first taste of success in May 1998 at The Business Design Centre. It wasn't long before its continued growth called for a change of venue with The National Hall at Olympia becoming the shows new home. After three highly successful years at Olympia, the natural connection between the show and the cafes, sandwich bars and trendy atmosphere of Islington saw the event return to its roots at The Business Design Centre for a thriving show in 2005. Rebranded The Total Sandwich & Snack Show, the event in 2006 encompassed a wider range of snack products, reflecting the increasing diversity of choice for consumers within the vibrant food-to-go industry. A natural evolution from The Total Sandwich Show, The European Sandwich Show opened its doors in March 2000 at the Palais des Congres, Paris. Rebranded The European Sandwich & Snack Show in 2004, the show has continued to attract record numbers of both exhibitors and visitors with the event in March 2006 exceeding all expectations once more. Never a company to stand still, DEW Events joined forces with Little Elephant in July 2003 to provide an invaluable in-house design resource, as well as offering a complete range of graphic design services to outside clients. |
